170? miles

Solo event for gravel loving mercenaries. We will warn you – this is not your typical gravel grinder. We have come up with the term “Enhanced Gravel”. A handful of locals have tackled and completed this route – most of them on mountain or fat bikes. Five riders have done it in a day… while a handful have done it in two.    We anticipate two river crossings and 12,000+ feet of elevation gain. Depending on the summer you may run into roads that seem to be filled with sand for miles -Enhanced. You’ll encounter mud and rock – Enhanced. At the time of this content writing… we have plans for something special if you can make it back by certain time targets. Pretty sure Gordon Gearheart will be involved.  Stay tuned for more info.

Read this. Because this ain’t no walk in the park.

So here’s the deal. Roaming around in the wilds of The U.P. has the potential for an epic day of fun. But stuff can go wrong. Many spots out there do not have cell coverage and some  places are miles from the nearest blacktop. Be prepared, we’re not coming to get you. Well, maybe on Monday. If we’ve got nothing better to do.
